2 lbs of beef chuck roast
2 cups beef broth
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
12 slider rolls
6 slices of provolone cheese, halved
1 large onion, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup sour cream
2 tablespoons prepared horseradish
1 teaspoon lemon juice
Pickles (optional)
Arugula (optional)
Tomato slices (optional)
Jalapeño slices (optional)
Crispy fried onions (optional)
Instructions
Prepare the Beef: Marinate the beef chuck roast with beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook in a slow cooker on low for 8 hours until tender and shred.
Caramelize the Onions: Melt butter in a skillet and cook sliced onions until golden brown and caramelized. Set aside.
Prepare the Horseradish Sauce: Mix sour cream, prepared horseradish, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Refrigerate until ready to use.
Assemble the Sliders: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice slider rolls in half, layer with shredded beef, caramelized onions, and provolone cheese.
Oven-Bake the Sliders: Cover with roll tops, cover tray with foil, bake for 10 minutes. Uncover and bake for an additional 5 minutes.
Serve and Enjoy: Add horseradish sauce and optional toppings. Serve warm.
