A homemade version of the classic Take 5 candy bar with layers of chocolate, peanut butter, caramel, pretzels, and peanuts.
Ingredients
Scale:
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 tablespoon coconut oil
1/2 cup smooth peanut butter
1/2 cup caramel sauce
1 cup mini pretzels, roughly chopped
1/2 cup roasted peanuts, unsalted and chopped
Sea salt flakes
Additional chopped peanuts or pretzel pieces
Instructions
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the semi-sweet chocolate chips with coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth.
In a medium bowl, mix the peanut butter and caramel sauce until well combined. Stir in the chopped pretzels and peanuts.
Line a small baking dish with parchment paper. Pour half of the melted chocolate into the dish, spreading it evenly to cover the bottom. Freeze for 10 minutes, or until the chocolate layer is firm.
Once the chocolate base is firm, spread the peanut butter, caramel, pretzel, and peanut mixture evenly over the chocolate layer.
Pour the remaining melted chocolate over the filling, ensuring all the layers are covered. Sprinkle sea salt flakes over the top.
Refrigerate the mixture for at least 1 hour, or until completely set.
Once set, remove from the dish and cut into bite-sized pieces.
